Better Looking People...

I guess I've always liked cameras. I thought they were cool looking. Or maybe, I knew I was better off on the camera side then the picture side. Well the whole reason for taking pictures and justifying all my camera gear are pictures like these. I love to take pictures of my family. I once read an article; It said "If you want to take better pictures, take pictures of better looking people". Well, I got pretty lucky having some of the most beautiful models a photographer could ask for. Hope you enjoy these.

Ice Age 2

We went and saw Ice Age 2 tonight. This was the best 3D movie I've ever seen. The 3D part was great. Not crazy, very real looking. Hilarious too. This movie had Brianna asking Kardon and I to stop laughing so loud. It was a good time. We would recommend it to any one.

Better start buying lottery tickets....

So, I thought I'd get rich off selling istock photos online. Ok, maybe not rich, but live very comfortably. Looks like I'll stay poor for the moment. My first 14 photos were denied by the online istock people. Man do they know how to help with your self confidence. Im thinking "Wow, I really suck at this photography thing". Seems they are very picking about what type of photos are being uploaed. They say they have to many of certain type photos. I cant imagine many other people had the same idea I had. But, apparently so. I guess I'll post a photo of one of the great things that can make me smile, even on the worst day. Because every post is better with a picture anyway.

Hump Day...

Well, its Wednesday, hump day in the week. It doesn't feel like hump day because the kiddos didn't get back from G-Lo's until Monday. Seemed like they had a great time. They had a lot of fun with their cousins. Mom found them a fireworks show and bounce house party place. Sounded really cool. They said they were so close to the huge fireworks. Kardon still had a little disappointment in his voice, when he talked about the fireworks he was allowed to shoot off. Remember it was windy and there was a fire ban. We saved some fireworks to take to the lake house some other time, he'll be ok.

Kardon worked with me at Petland yesterday and Brianna fell in love with another puppy. "He's sooo cute Daddy, pleeeease can we take him home?" She sounds so cute herself saying this. She's not whinning, she's really just partly kidding with me. The other part, DEAD SERIOUS, if I said yes. Brianna picked out some sale dresses yesterday at OLD NAVY. We are hoping to have a model shoot very soon. I will post some pictures when we do. Have a good Hump day.

4th of July

Girls having fun...

Wanted to show off a few pictures of some great girls. This family has alway been one of my favorite to photograph. Their little girls are great fun. The family is expecting their 4th addition pretty soon. I've got some great new ideas for new born portraits. Can't wait to try them out.

G-Lo's

Wow, my pyromaniacs sure have grown since this firework episode. Well, there on their way down to see G-Lo. We bought fireworks, packed snacks, charged video game batteries and loaded movies into the car. Their ready for a weekend.

Burn Ban

The kids are getting ready to go see their G-Lo, down south, this weekend. They really enjoy going down there. Road trip, Cousins, Goats, Fresh Tortillas, getting spoiled by G-Lo, what's not to enjoy. There is nothing better then a hug from G-lo. Especially after she has been missing you for a while. You can just feel her love come pouring out in those long, tight hugs.

Fireworks, of course, has become really fun for the kids on the 4th of July at G-Lo's. This year it looks like there will be a fire ban. It is going to be a hot weekend down there. Grandpa says they can still shoot off the noise makers and sparkler type things, but no big air shooters. I'm sure they will still have fun with the little stuff. Both kids are very mature when it comes to teaching the safety of Fireworks. It's really cool to see both of them remember things I have already taught them about safety.

Getting Old....

Well, we made it through another 2009 month. June seemed to go pretty quick. July is exciting, my Daughter is already talking about her Birthday. My little baby will turn 6 years old on July 30th. Seems so old. I'm not talking grey hairs and wrinkles, but still. For my little baby that loves for me to carry her around, 6 sounds old. They really grow up quickly. Sounds cheesy, but they do. Brianna can be one of the sweeetest little girls, when she wants. She really helps take care of me. I love that little girl.
