Hard Workers

Another really long day for my crew of 8 and 5 year old retail workers. My guys really were a huge help today at Petland. They started off with unloading all the product from the truck. This is really a big help for the team members that have to put out the product. Being short handed today, we moved to the puppy wall as soon as they called for us. We tag teamed the customers today. All three of us doing our own job on the wall today. We really were efficient. It was fun. Kids love the fast paced, busy work. It was cool doing it as a family. Thanks Kardon and Brianna. How about a shot of the hard workers ?

Truck Day at Petland

It's Tuesday, truck day at Petland. My kids love going to Petland on truck day. They really feel like they accomplish something on truck day. Last summer they learned what and how to do things to help on truck day. This summer they come right in and start helping. They truely are a help. This is one of the ways they earn their own money. Ok, well, here are the helpers.

Man, it's been a long, hard day. Work is stressful right now. But coming home to this smile sure makes things better quick!

Troopers

Wow, an all day shopping adventure today. I really dont mind, its a chance to have the whole family together, and the kids always behave great. The afternoon started with, what is now, Kardon's favorite hamburger joint, MooYah Burger. After we filled our bellies we headed off to Grapevine Mills MAll, for a lap around the shops.

I always seem to be looking at the photography in the stores. It seems like, at least, 75% of the shots are taken with a white out background. Most of the shots seem fairly easy to take. I guess its just finding the connections that want pictures.

Ok, so I figure every post would be better with a picture. Right? Thought I'd post one of my whited out background pictures.

I took a few family portraits of Dino and her family last week. Christopher and Ashley were in town, so it was a great time to get everybody together. These were taken at my house with studio strobes.

1st day, 1st Blog

Ok, here goes. This is my first day to join the blogging world. I've started this blog to help grow my photography business and share some of my thoughts and some pictures of my great kids. Im sure this will get off to a rough start. I am not what one would consider a good writer. Hopefully I will be able to write down the words that I'm thinking.

Im in the process of designing a new website. Im pretty excited about it. It looks really cool. My new web site will have a quick connect to my blog.

Ok, so now the idea is to keep this blog interesting. That might be hard with my life. I will try to keep posting pictures on a regular basis though.
